Report A Tree

The City of Edmonton has a 311 reporting tool for Pests/Sick Trees on public property. You can share your information by calling 311 directly or by completing an online report.

It is important to remember the street your ash tree is planted near. The nearest intersection and cardinal direction/side of the street it is located on will be useful. This will help the city to find the tree when they are following up to conduct a closer inspection.

Also, share specific signs and/or symptoms of concern with a few quality photos.

If you find an Emerald Ash Borer beetle, it is important to place it in a small plastic container such as a medicine or pill bottle. This will avoid squishing the beetle and make identification easier. Place the container in the freezer. Call CFIA at 1-800-442-2342 or the City of Edmonton 311.
